As a Principal Engineer E, you will be the driving force behind the successful delivery of various projects of complex size. Your duties will include:
- Perform work according to our customers’ guidelines, aiming for minimal downtime, efficient turnaround time and maximum customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate progress and provide daily direction to mechanics.
- Creative solving of practical problems.
- Provide a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Prepare and monitor detail schedules, including preparation of detail drawings as needed.
- Work with your team to construct technical installations, including switchboards, control panels and measurement and control equipment.
- Prepare and perform commissioning, including testing and any assistance required.
- Detect sources of interference and perform or supervise repair and maintenance work.
- Checking work performed against the order and schedule, including tracking of more-minor work.
- Monitor tool and material usage, and record material usage, hours and changes.
- Oversee compliance with quality, health and safety, environmental, safety and specific company regulations and procedures.
